The Great Royal Wife of Ramesses the Great.
Her lavishly decorated tomb, QV66, is the largest and most spectacular in the Valley of the Queens. Ramesses also constructed a temple for her at Abu Simbel next to his colossal monument here.
Ramesses himself wrote:
"My love is unique - no one can rival her, for she is the most beautiful woman alive. Just by passing, she has stolen away my heart."
I’ve already drew her:
;in 2012. so I decided to draw her again!
Hope You like her, I surely do!
(Btw, lazy background, columns are from my previous drawing! :D )
— Found on the walls in Queen Nefertari’s burial chamber.
— Poetry by ramesses ii about his love for his late queen. This is an example of true love in history(via gemzie17) Imagine someone saying this to you. Beautiful Egyptian poetry!
